E-Books

Our “Due To Learn” Series of Interactive E-Books are coming soon.

Autism awareness month is the perfect month to bring our Due to Learn series of interactive E-Books. The day of the diagnosis is one of the hardest and scariest things a parent can go through. So many questions begin swirling and it feels like and impossible task to figure it out.

Every new parent needs somewhere to start. Autism Speaks has a great 100 day kit that helps new parents understand some of the many complexities of having a child with autism.

Then comes the understanding of Autism as a life long issue that has to be dealt with. How do I teach my Autistic child? How do I play with them? What works? What doesn’t? Is there a special diet? Will my child ever talk? Will my child ever read? The list can go on and on.

Personally, we were scared beyond belief. Although we wouldn’t admit it, neither of us even could comprehend what this autism diagnosis would mean for the future. We are lucky in our character. We didn’t know what was going on, but like a soldier going to battle we simply new we had to enter the fight. Upon entrance it became clear that there will always be new parents out there with these questions.

So we decided to create a series of Interactive E-Books, we like to call Due To Learn. Every child is Due to Learn at some point, especially Autistic children. We have been through every therapy and learning session possible and have learned some really great tips and advice that we want to share.

We hope to give all of our successful, and some not successful, experiences with learning to read, learning to write and the big one learning to talk. Our simple E-books are packed full of thoughts, ideas and tools to practice with your child and help them learn. There will also be an video showing exactly how we apply the same tips to our 5 year old son. We will even document our progress along the way.

Thanks for checking us out, and we hope to spread the awareness and help in any way possible. Keep fighting the Fight, its worth it!
