Baby Babble – Speech Enhancement DVD

Description:
Another great DVD for learning sounds and words. This video was developed and designed by speech therapists. Most Autistic or Speech Delayed children need repetition to finally develop and understanding. It has a lot of sensory movement which is vary appropriate for our any child on the spectrum. The visualization of sounds by the therapists is quite advantageous. Children become fixated on their mouths and will try to mimic their lips.

Autism Games:
Use the words as well as the enunciation used in the video to practice with your child. Hold an object using the proper enunciation before allowing your child to get the toy. Easy to copy and follow at home when playing with your child

Leap Frog – Talking Words Factory

Description:
By far the most entertaining vocabulary builder DVD. Building words becomes an exciting and empowering experience for young children with Autism. When young Tad wants to nominate his Dad for a “Best Dad” contest he solicits the help of his siblings. The three frogs go to The Talking Word Factory and become involved in making new words for the factory. Tad quickly discovers that vowels act as the glue that sticks letters together. This DVD his very good for Phonemic awareness, vocabulary building, and rhyming. The animation is visually stimulating as well as entertaining. Easy to model prompt as well as mimic, Leap Frog hits a home run with this one.
